Converting more customers for the same budget

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green is a family-run business selling exclusive lines for sale through its six London stores and online.

Graham & Green already had an Adwords campaign, but they wanted it to work harder for them. They also wanted it to be more cost-effective. So when they asked us to help, our challenge was to improve their return on investment in PPC by getting more acquisitions for the same budget.

Devising an effective PPC campaign

Delivering relevant traffic through Adwords is a real science. We set about analysing Graham & Green’s previous campaign to see which elements worked and which didn’t, as well as what had been tested and what had not.

Armed with this information, we drew on the experience that has seen us achieve an average 400% return on investment for clients through PPC advertising. We created new bespoke adverts and targeted them at audiences and times that have proven to be effective.

Delivering triple-digit improvement

Our approach certainly paid off. Comparing the first six months of original campaign with our new campaign, conversions increased by 491% while the cost per acquisition reduced by 55.7% – representing a much better return on investment for the client.

We’re continuing to fine-tune the PPC campaign to give Graham & Green the best possible return on investment. And our search engine optimisation (SEO) specialists are now working with them to improve their search engine rankings.
