We’re finalists at the Wiltshire Business Awards

March 13, 2015

March has been a very exciting time for us at toinfinity. We have been shortlisted as a finalist for Wiltshire Small Business of the year, as well as our Managing Director Al Keck being reaching the final stage for Business Person of the year for 2014.

The Wiltshire Business Awards have been running for over 20 years now and are one of the most prestigious awards categories for up and coming businesses in Wiltshire. Companies are judged on a broad range of criteria, including successful performance, best in practice, corporate ethics and innovation, so they really do look for the best and we are delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist.

We are very proud to be awarded our finalist certificates at the Wiltshire Business Awards finalists evening which was hosted by Thrings Solicitors, along with Baker Tilly and NatWest to name a few.

It was so nice to meet and chat to other likeminded small businesses like us and to hear their fascinating stories. We really loved meeting Ross from The Sound Emporium as well as Darren from Newsquest and Denise from Purpol Marketing just to name a few.

We are really happy that our hard work is paying off and we are being recognised for our efforts in online marketing and consultancy. We made it to the finals last year for Small Business of the year 2013, and achieved a Runner Up prize, which is amazing considering the number of worthy entries we were up against, but this year we want to go all the way.

All the finalists will now start to be shortlisted, with successful businesses and business people being asked for an interview with the judges. The judges will come out and visit each candidate that is shortlisted and make an overall decision as to who should be named the winner.

The final will be held on 17th April, where the winners for all the categories will be announced, which are:

  • Apprenticeship Employer of the year
  • Customer and staff care of the year
  • Environmental Business of the year
  • Leadership and Social Influence of the year
  • Innovation and Growth Business of year
  • Business person of the year
  • Small Business of the year
  • Service to Community of the year

We’ve got our fingers crossed for a win for Small Business of the Year and Business Person of the year!
