Web sales up 20% in June - the football widow effect?

IMRG e-Retail sales index reports that total online sales in June were up 20% year on year. Could this be the football widow effect?! A total £4.4 billion was spent online in June and it was the second consecutive month that year on year growth has been over 20%. Clear winners: supermarkets and off licences (with sales boosted by 23% on last June). Multichannel retailers have also done extremely well, reporting a year on year growth of 27%.
