A fresh look for a Landmark Store! Landmark is a retailer of outdoor clothing and accessories to customers throughout Broadway, the Cotswolds and UK. Established in1997 the company hasmany years experiencein the camping, outdoors and country pursuits market. Whilst sales in the Broadway store are strong, Landmark were keen to boost sales online.
Our Solution
We did a full usability and online marketing review of the website, identifying areas that could be improved and increase conversion, sales and ultimately profit. Our initial focus was on the usability of the site.
From our review and analysis of the information provided by Google analytics, it was clear to us that we needed to change the structure of navigation, homepage, product page and checkout process to ensure it was easy for the customer to buy and thus maximising sales from the existing traffic.
This would also ensure that any future additional marketing would give a better ROI.
In addition to these changes aiding the site usability, they also enhanced the sites natural SEO ranking, ensuring that people searching for the products / brands that they sold would appear high up in the search engine results.
The revised site was launched in September 2008 and we have continued to work and fine tune the content on the site to maximise the SEO potential whilst also managing the email marketing and Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing campaign on their behalf.
