Launched in 2007, Hair on the Internet is an online retailer specialising in well known salon professional products. By offering products exclusively online, Hair on the Internet is able to pass on large discounts to customers while offering a first rate delivery service to ensure customers keep coming back for more.
Hair on the Internet approached toinfinity in Jan 2008 to review and improve their google adwords campaign.
Our Solution We reviewed Hair on the Internet’s campaign, identifying which areas worked, what had and had not been tested and set up a brand new campaign.
The Results Through good campaign management and testing we increased sales at a significantly lower cost per acquisition. The success of the campaign was expanded to other Pay Per Click providers Yahoo and Bing.
Additional Work With a very high percentage of visitors arriving at the site via pay per click adverts, it was essential that Hair on the Internet boosted their visitor numbers via natural search listings. toinfinity worked with Hair on the Internet to improve the optimisation of the Hair on the Internet website, improve landing page, category page and product page copy, improve internal and external linking. As a result, Hair on the Internet has seen a good increase in sales via natural search listings, decreasing their reliance on Pay Per Click campaigns (enabling PPC budget to be reallocated.)
