A recognised leader in e-commerce management and online marketing, Al really knows how to make a website and online marketing work commercially.
Al’s first e-commerce role saw him take the lead in the creation, implementation and running of a brand new e-commerce site for Cotswold Outdoor, driving sales, online marketing and revenue growth. This was a brand new sales channel for the company, which grew rapidly and took them into a new era of direct marketing.
Al went on to manage the e-commerce operations for other major brands including, Scotts of Stow, Cucina Direct, The Original Gift Co, Presents Direct, Expert Verdict and the Traditional Garden Company, bringing his previous experience of new website implementations and online marketing to the fold, ensuring excellent revenue growth and strong ROI.
From here, his entrepreneurial spirit opened up new opportunities to run his own online marketing and consultancy business, and he has since worked closely with leading brands such as Readers Digest, Rapha, eBay, Graham & Green, GLTC, Brora and Weird Fish, to name but a few. From managing new website developments/enhancements, business development and working on brand online strategy, Al is extremely customer focused and experienced in getting the job done on time and within budget.
When he’s not working, you’ll find Al messing around on boats – he sails competitively! Al has been married for 4 years and is the proud father of a son.
